A few days ago, I spotted a new trend: ear cuffs! These 'things' are earrings, but you don't need earrings on that place! You just 'click' them around you ear. You have big ones, like frogs or insects. But also small ones like a ring. What do you think? Hot or not?

How to: eyeshadow

Today a how to: how to bring a nice eyeshadow look. Eyeshadow can look very nice if you do it well, but it can also look as a big mess if you do it wrong! If you know the trics, every colour can look nice to your eyes. Follow these rules: a light coulour on you right eyecorner (number 2 on the picture), a middle to dark coulour from the half of you eye to the left eyecorner (number 3). The rule: use light colours on day, darker in the night. If you want to, use a light coulour above your eye (number 1). Do you want to bring eyeliner? Do it after you have brought your eyeshadow! To accentuate your eyes, use a bit of a very dark coulour in the most left part of your eye.

If a eyeshadow hasn't got enough pigment (colour), use a wet brush to bring it on your eyes, and the colour will be more intens.

Musthave basics!

The key piece to a amazing outfit can be so easy if you have the right clothes to complete it. Here are a few basic musthaves that can help you with choosing a perfect outfit:

-Jeans, perfect for, well, everything

-basic tops in all colours

-a nice fitting well blazer (black is the most useful colour)

-maybe not on the most wishlists, but a skirt can look very well on a sunny day

-black trousers/little back dress, for chique dinners or partys.

Do not think that a outfit with basics absolutely BORING is, it can look even more stylisch if you have perfect fitting and matching clothes. Are you really afraid that it is going to be a unfashionable outfit, use one of these tips:

-add a remarkable accesoire like a statement necklace or a big bracelet

-scarfs can be very fashionable if the have a interesting print or just nice fabric

-to accentuate your waist you can take a little belt

-lipgloss/lipstick or eyeshadow in a nice color can also make the different between 'just' a outfit or a impressing outfit

-last but nog least: try! Don't be shy to just do what you like to do. What seems as a silly idea can be great if you wear it. Dress to impress!

How to: zelf armband maken!

Helemaal hip deze zomer: zelf armbanden maken! Creatief en met een leuk resultaat. Vandaag een niet al te moeilijke how-to, maar wel een met een leuk effect! Het enige wat je nodig hebt zijn platte suéde of leren touwtjes, en bedels die je eventueel ook zelf kunt maken. Je neemt 3 stukjes touw (en legt er een knoop in) en begint gewoon met vlechten. Af en toe rijg je een bedel aan één van de stukjes touw. Je kan ook zelf bedels maken: neem een kettelstaafje, rijg er een paar mooie (glas)kralen aan, buig de bovenkant om een ringetje, en rijg dat ringetje ook aan je armband. Je gaat nu net zolang door totdat je vind dat die lang genoeg is. Het mooiste is als je armband ongeveer 3 of 4 keer om je pols kan wikkelen. Leg weer een knoop in de uiteinde en knoop de armband om je pols. Tadaa, klaar is je self made wikkelarmband!
